Should have known when they kept Bonerpopper and Gregory.... should have cut bait even with the buyouts.
This is going to set us back. Long way till Dec and Feb but losing Emeka, JT, Julien, and Lonyatta is unforgiveable. Don't start with me about Troy Franklin either. Nobody is a layup for this staff right now except the TE we just got.

I would argue against the 99 makeup, too. He's not that kind of athlete and looking at him, I would bet he doesn't get much more athletic. Looks like the typical kid that developed early.

I don't think Simon's commitment is imminent, but there is definitely buzz behind him heading to USC from both sides of his recruitment right now. USC has had very little traction recruiting FSP players like SImon in the past. The Trojans reached a few years ago and signed cornerback Trey Davis, which proved a bad move as Davis ransferred out of USC weeks after enrolling. Simon would be a much bigger target to land, obviously. He is projected as a linebacker for USC."
