Jordan Hornbeak, 2021 3* RB, Fresno (San Joaquin Memorial), CA (Offered)

How weird he gets offered the same day as Brandon Campbell not including UW in his...top six!

Boner with another mail-in effort and left hunting for the crumbs...

Not saying this isn't what happened, but Hornbeak is actually the higher rated RB by 247, Campbell fell a lot.

Its just a really bad year for RBs

I doubt they were holding out major hope for a highly recruited RB from Texas.

This guy committed to Fresno State today. I'm kinda curious where the rest of the pac 12 will be getting their RB commits. Oregon has some guy named Seven who committed to them like 3 years ago and hasn't played football in 2 years. SC has Campbell. I imagine Cal hit the jackpot and will be the lucky recipient of Cardwell since KB decided that recruiting him was cutting into too much of his XBox time

This begs the question, had UW not thrown in the towel and taken Caleb Berry as their RB, would Berry have committed to a school more respectable or less respectable than Fresno State

We stopped recruiting him a while ago.

Did we stop recruiting Caldwell after he said no to us putting the squeeze on him?

Still in contact but it’s not much. I think don’t see Cardwell coming here

What's the strategy of dropping a kid because it's too hard but still staying in contact? Unless they're generally concerned about the wellbeing for the kid (he is going to Fresno after all), why even put in the effort if it's not going to result in anything meaningful?
