“I talked to Coach K last night”, Banks continued, “He talked about how my game went — and I’m going to call Coach Pete tomorrow night”, he said, and don’t get excited, he’s not calling to commit.

“With Washington, it’s just the vibe there”, he said of why he’s beginning to get serious about the Huskies, “There’s such a good connection between the players and the coaches — and I know they will be there for me, even after football.”

Banks wants to have his decision done by mid-November, and he’s been to Washington before on his own dime, this time his family will be up to see the Huskies host USC, and take in the full 48 hours of the Husky experience.

“My parents are my biggest fans” he laughed, “But that’s one thing I think that has stood about Washington — how they have taken the time to really get to know and connect with my parents.”
