Jordan Banks, 2020 4* Buck/LB, Harbor City (Narbonne), CA (NOT committed to Bama)

https://247sports.com/Article/Oklahoma-Washington-and-Florida-making-big-push-for-Jordan-Banks-Alabama-and-Oregon-will-get-visits--129074876/

Biggins just dropped his report on Banks. Measured in at 6'1 230 at the Opening regional. Says UW, Florida and Oklahoma recruiting him the hardest. Has interest on Oregon and Bama. Wants to officially visit to see game atmosphere. I would bring him up for Oregon or USC.

We rarely do officials during the season and if we do it's never for a game with an atmosphere worth a shit.

One things this year is that I know our staff isn’t big on in season visits, but we will have some big time environments to show off. I’d love to try and get kids up unofficially if possible, especially 2021 out of state kids for some of those games.

Get as many SoCal recruits as possible to be here for the USC game[/s] Clay Helton's funeral

At 6'1", 230 pounds, where would you guys fit him in the scheme?

Either OLB position. Most likely Buck. Benning is 6'2". Joe Mathis was 6'1", Ryan Bowman is 6'0". Even if Banks is 6'1" he'll probably play at around 250, give or take 5 lbs.

Fuck if Mathis was red shirted fucker would be on a roster right now, instead playing japan or something

Sounds like he’s upset with USC waiting to offer so long because he’s undersized for their model. Says Bama, OU, and UDUB are his top schools and just liked his visit to UDUB that took place three weekends ago. Bama will not have room for this kid so this looks like. OU, UDUB, Oregon, USC.

So he’s got thick legs and the majority of his best tape is a mismatch DT. He got kinda big this season and that’s why it’s been a lil quiet on him because so many teams are telling him to thin down to play OLB. He weighed 238 at the Opening after an end of the season injury. The best part about UDUB and Coach K and Coach Lake is how much we prioritize versatility. We want him everywhere.

This kid is so important to me because after getting the DL body types and Laiatu Latu, we needed a Stephon Wright, Jojo Mathis or a better Jaylen Johnson to compliment those guys. This kid can play anywhere from the 9 to 3-Tech. We’ve had Qualls and JJ play SAM out of necessity but this kid looks like a fire hydrant version of the prototypical Bama OLB’s like Ryan Anderson #33. But because of his stalky stature this will help him even more when pass rushing in the middle.

Elvis Dumervil meets John Randle with who we have in the front 7?!?!

THIS KID IS RIGHT UP THERE WITH SAVELL, KELEE, AND BOTELHO AND WE NEED TO SHOW HIM THE LOVE BECAUSE HES BUTTHURT AT USC AND IS GOING TO BE EVEN MORE BUTTHURT WHEN BAMA DROPS HIM

He'll not be a Dawg.

He’s black and from LA.

Named Jordan though. We've got a chance!

#blackkidwhitename

Bruh we just missed on TWO #blackkidswhitenames in KYLE Ford and BRU McCoy, not only were there names white, most importantly their mom’s were white.

Jordan’s mom has a burner account and is active on anything about Jordan. Be responsible but love him the fuck up. He’s the number the number 1 Front Seven player not named Sav’ell Smalls.

Horace is, I'll grant you that.

And Justin Flowe >>>> Banks, though I love Banks.

Number 1 player may be the wrong wording I guess.

The separation between Flowe and Botelho is not very wide margin like Jordan Banks and the rest of the DL class. It’s also based on roster fit. When OL get used Bandes, Tui, Tuli, Taimani, Paama and then they have to worry about doubling one of them while Banks rotates down, he’s an absolute match up nightmare. I also have 0 confidence in getting Banks but somehow have even less in Flowe.

AGREE. we have 0.00% shot with Flowe, like a 0.81% shot with Banks.
