John Fogerty - The Old Man Down The Road

Fogerty was sued for copyright infringement of “Run Through the Jungle” for this song, a song that he wrote…he sold his publishing for CCR to get out of his contract with Fantasy Records, and Saul Zaentz took him to court. Zaentz accused him of plagiarism his own shit fucko…Fogerty won, and sued him for attorney fees (it went to the Supreme Court). It was why Fogerty refused to play CCR songs in his solo act…see “Vanz Can’t Danz” from his album Centerfield”, originally titled “Zanz Kant Danz”…
