Joe is a gifted speaker who has literally built a career on impassioned speeches and spin control.

He is like that business partner who says all the right things in meetings, proposes new employee standards, etc, but is never around after 5 when work needs to be done. Always unavailable when extra calls need to be made.

You come to realize a couple years in that he just talks a lot and collects a check. He never actually follows through on anything important or makes a real difference. Just talks.

Gifted in the fact he's made his shtick last this long and carry him this far. It takes talent to dupe colleagues and constituents that you have solutions to implement, but never actually do. They keep voting you in anyway and you become the face of the nation.

His talent is worthless in the tangible real world, but of great merit in the fantasy land of politics and international exchange where he has pilfered his wealth along with his son.

Imagine being a person who would never be hired to manage a local Home Depot or even the corner 7-11, but carry the wealth and office he carries.
