Joel Klatt believes Notre Dame could be this year's Washington

I want this years Washington to be last years Washington and next years Washington
 
Joel Klatt is a clown around dying to keep getting paychecks working in college football. I'd rather listen to a drunk who just loves the sport talk about it.

that doesnt sound like 'last year's washington,' imo. i dont know where he's coming from with that.

notre dame's schedule is weak as fuck, i dont think freeman is 'the guy,' but if he can't make the playoff this year, then they should tarmac him.
 
My only thing here is maybe the talent and proven experience of top teams coming back this year is as bad as I can ever remember so maybe Notre Dame can put together a great run while being a team which wouldn't have been in the Top 5 or maybe even 10 in 2023. It's what worries me about Oregon too.
 
Notre Dame is the most consistently overrated team in the country. I don’t even remember the last time they won a big bowl game. They aren’t doing shit this year.

Very true. I feel like them, USC, and Texas are the most consistently overrated and I feel like ND has been way worse than those other teams the past 30 years. They have a joke where ND hasn't won a BCS-level bowl since like 1991. Though the other team that was similar was UW, not winning one since 2000, which is another reason the Sugar Bowl win was huge.
