Kent is going to flip the 3rd blue if he’s not careful.
JHB is a moderate Republican. AKA RINO in the eyes of many. Kent might very well primary her. But in the general he’ll be seen as an Ultra MAGA and would not do as well against a moderate dem as JHB would. The 3rd is not reliably red.

He is getting much national publicity and he speaks common sense
I’ve personally flipped all my JHB supporting family members in WA-03 and it took about 10 minutes.

It went for Obama in 2008. Brian Baird was before JHB. There is a slight republican lean. My point is it's not a slam dunk for the GOP and someone on the extreme right may have trouble in the general. Don't take it for granted.

Are there any honest moderate dems in the Third? To win the dem primary, tough to be an honest democrat, they have the same issue with their base. JHB's take on January 6 and the Trump impeachment vote was totally unnecessary and a betrayal. Virtue signaling to the left serves what purpose? Anyone seeing any dems apologizing for the BLM/antifa riots and running their mouths about defunding the police?
Peninsula counties in the Congressional 3rd have moved further Republican in the past 10 years. They now have Republican reps in the State House, etc.
