Jimmy is an imitator, not an innovator or architect. He has watched Petersen and tries to mimic what he says and does. But it doesn't work well because he doesn't have a clue why it works.
Sark has the same problem... always imitating Carrol. With Jimmy you get the idea that positivity is how you win while Sark says penalties don't matter. It is just copying with no understanding of how things really work.
Petersen and Carrol understood how those things fit into the bigger picture of what they were building. Jimmy and Sark... no clue.
