Also note that in his first year calling plays, the UW defense gave up less yards and less points than the previous 4 years.

And I do remember plenty of people in game threads questioning whether it was a smart idea to give him play calls, he calls too conservatively, etc.

With the worst STs play of the Pete era rather easily.

Lake killed it this year.
