I really really like Jimmy. I want him to succeed badly. He's the kind of Coach that would be kick ass to have if he is winning Rose Bowels. Fun. Photogenic. Great face of the program type. If he would just fire some of these dead weight ass clowns he's got on staff and get to it. Fuck. Our coordinators are JohnDon and Gregory. Motherfuck! I get pissed every tim I think about it.

I think JohnDon was a lucky hire and he will end up being pretty good. It still was about the worst hire possible on paper but I think we are going to ball out on offense this year.

I still think that's possible too. I won't go so far as to say I expect it, but I'm holding onto hope.

I feel like I am in crazy land. I have been a minion to @RaceBannon for years, and one of the reasons I am a minion is because he was always a no compromises "you should be fired every year until you win a Rose Bowl" kind of guy. I like that approach. I like it even more with Lake because there are OBVIOUS signs of a dumpster fire. Recruiting is in the absolute shitter. Coaching hires and retention is truly bottom of the barrel by any metric. Program messaging is a shitshow. The AD has always been a pathetic #scoducks nightmare.

I don't want to give Jimmy tim. I want Jimmy fired every single day until he proves to me he shouldn't be fired. What world am I living in where Race Bannon of the Coney Island Bannons wants to kid gloves a guy who hasn't done shit. 3-1 in a Covid abortion of a season and then giving up is not something to hang your hat on. Every other metric for this program is in the dumpster. Why am I yelling???!!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!

Said it before. Hope Jimmy wins the conference this year and becomes the next DJ. Nothing he has done to date makes me think any of that will happen so until it does I want him shitcanned. The end.

I think there's a real possibility of this as well. His passing scheme looked like a huge improvement over anything we have seen in ages. He appears to be a real quality QB coach as well. I hate the hire but I don't actually hate Donovan.

OTOH the running scheme and overreliance on it is the stupidest thing I've seen out of UW though. I'm just afraid that's more Jimmy than Donovan.

Now I hate him again.

In all seriousness if we show some imagination and creativity in the run game and actually allow D Mo to cook a bit the offense should be very very good.
