Looking at the mess FSU is in and you see why Jimbo Fisher took a hit to his reputation as Dabo and Clemson took over the ACC. But Dabo had to get past Jimbo and it took some time. They each have one national title. FSU was never the same after the embarrassment of losing to Oregon. Lot of folks thought they should just shut the program down so they did.

Last night perennial find a way to be a loser Texas A&M found a way to lose again by missing two field goals and fumbling at the goal line. It was like watching a montage of weak minded Washington efforts against good teams.

But there they were at the end. Jimbo did a hell of a job. The problem comes in two weeks when they go to Bama.

Can Jimbo turn this loser with above average talent into a winner in the rugged SEC West?

102,000 fans there for a mediocre program.
 
Jimbo made me a believer last night. They had no business even being in that game talent wise. His QB having a big set of nuts helped, though. Must be nice...

Neither will you. At least not one you earned on field, which is the only currency that matters now. Your greatest accomplishment so far is losing in the playoffs to Bama. But hey, that's better than what every other PAC 12 program has accomplished outside of USC and UO.

Especially when that past is so close you can almost grasp it. But the desperation of trying to hold on while the glory is like sand through your fingers.

Knowing it will never return.
