Jim Moore: This is what Demond Williams should have said

Can't remember if I have put it here before but my friend was in the comms program at WSU back in 2008 and Jim did a panel thing and told anyone who would email him could job shadow him. My friend did and said he was great - took him to a Seahawks practice and introduced him to Holmgren and some of the players, took him to KJR and some other stuff and gave him any help he wanted with journalism. Said he seemed like the Husky hate stuff was played up for clicks. This was also at the worst year in history to graduate into journalism so it seemed pretty cool he was doing that.

I feel bad for people in traditional media who couldn't retire by 2010. It is a pretty bleak lot. I respect them a lot more than some clown at On3 or Joel Klatt and people working on their next article about Lanning.

You guys hate everything. Not everyone, but how do some of you have a strong opinion on this article and Jim Moore?

It’s a Cuog trying to write a fun article. There is nothing wrong with it. Jim Moore is more successful than 90% of journalism grads. It’s a tough industry and he had a decent run. College football talking heads are supposed to be homers and sometimes delusional.

I love me some Jim Moore. Always have and always will.

I interviewed him a couple times, once for Hardcore Husky when we had a front page and once for the Woodinville Weekly. As we were going to hang up, he said, "Hey Derek, please don't do anything to get me fired."
