Jim Moore has lost a lot off his fastball. The fact that Wazzu can’t piggy back off of the 3-4 real West Coast football programs for money anymore and have been exposed as an average Mountain West program has broken his mind.

It was a bit entertaining and not nearly as bad as 95% of his other stuff. Still a waste of the minute and twenty three seconds it took me to read it.
 
I like Jim. He’s got the sense of humor of someone who doesn’t expect much. This article sucked ass though.

I have a younger friend that went to school with him that said he is / was a cool guy but now that the business is broken Jim is like a lost soul. I feel for the guy, must be tough to lose your cash flow and be covering the remnants of nothingness with no backup.

It seems like the 'the business' nowadays at least locally is more professional radio guys that are into stats and betting. These are younger guys that don't fuck off like Jim and rarely do the cheerleader bit. The younger coug down here is almost more insufferable than him when it comes to the topic at hand, but the cheerleader side comments and tangents almost never come up, it's all NFL/college football gambling.

Isaac and Duke and Softy are going to be the only guys left that just get to dick around on the radio.

It’s a Cuog trying to write a fun article. There is nothing wrong with it. Jim Moore is more successful than 90% of journalism grads. It’s a tough industry and he had a decent run. College football talking heads are supposed to be homers and sometimes delusional.
 
Jim Moore is fine, even if he lost his fastball several years ago. Softy is fine by me, too. None of the other radio guys talk UW. Appreciate what you have.

I agree the hate around here can be a bit much at times. But … I used to think Moore was a goofy super fan. His schtick was all in good fun. When the P12 dissolved he lost it though and it became personal and nasty between him and UW. We all know, USC ended the P12 the minute they bolted for the B10 and dragged little brother UCLA along with them kicking and screaming. The fact that Coogs and an educated Coog like Moore can’t wrap their minds around that is mind numbing. He deserves the vitriol.
