Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains on Nirvana, Soundgarden & Seattle Grunge Scene

I knew him a bit from 1990-1991. He was basically a condescending dick to me at the time. So was Mike Starr. Layne and Sean were very cool and down to earth with me. If I met Jerry now I'm sure we'd get along good. I doubt he remembers me but you never know.
Anyway, a trip down amnesia lane…. I enjoyed this interview.
 
Man, that guy is really easy to listen to. He comes across like a hell of a dude, but my impression has always been that he's kind of a dick. Not that it means anything at all.
 
I saw him at a very rainy Seattle Center after Staley OD'd. This was April? of '02. He was talking to someone who I believe wasn't famous. CS, B.
AIC is my favorite of all those bands, probably because an earlier incarnation was a hair band.
