Michigan is a total mess right now and I can't believe the AD hasn't been fired. That guy sucks at his job.
 
And what respectable coach would want to jump to Michigan until they know if the current AD, who has been under increasing heat, will be there or not?
 
Michigan will always have more money, more resources, more “brand” and more opportunity to win the national championship than a program like ASU.
Hometown discounts only go so far.

For Michigan/this coaching cycle.
They had a hurt QB and some issues this year and were still decent. I don't think he moves on until he either starts sucking or has a multi-year plateau.
Guy was a 4th and 8 away from the final four last year.

All true. What is also true is that his starting QB, LT and CB have all entered the portal because ASU is even more poor than UW. How long does Dillingham want to develop front line starters only to see them play their junior and senior years in the B10, SEC, Texas Tech, Miami Florida or Florida State?
 
Leavitt didnt play that great even when he wasnt hurt. Guy got carried hard by Skattebo last year.
Agreed on their NIL. But he doesn't seem the type to go away from the hometown team and will fight to get it built up.
 
Does anyone know how UW's NIL is progressing? It seems like it has been steadily improving after being behind the ball when the dam broke but that could be a Doog take. OTOH, the 2026 class was very good and it can't simply be due to the GREATEST SETTING.
 
Didn't the boosters there set Rich Rod up? They set him up at Arizona.

Anyway, I think it was probably a real relationship that went sour, but I wouldn't put it past some scummy booster with money to burn to set something up.

There was a Jake Butt post on X as he was fellating Judd for the Michigan job about UW having bottom 1/3 NIL revenue. If that’s true, it’s much worse than I had thought. My guess is he may be minimizing UW cash flow to prop his Butt buddy Fish up. I’d say UW is at the top of the middle in the B10. Behind TOSU, Oregon, Pedo, Michigan, USC and Indiana W/Mark Cuban and on par or ahead of everyone else. Outside of Indiana, who uses the portal so well, the HS recruiting kinda bears this out. I’ve also heard Judd may have found an investor and that’s why the recruiting class surged in the last month before signing day. No public records so everyone is just guessing.
