Jayden Williams, 2019 3* DB, Corona (Centennial), CA (Offered 11/15/18)

The usual Roof report... he loved it, family loved it, 13 out of 10. Only unique thing in the report was about USC, said their offer (they offered him while he was on campus at UW) was a big one for him but he also knows that they are really disorganized and not a lot of people want to go there right now. He considered committing to UW on the visit but wants to think it over and will decide whether he will take one more visit (either USC or Oregon) or not.

So where does this kid fit in? Sounds like he's close to a lock, but I thought he was more of a corner than a safety/Turner replacement? If Williams commits, what does that mean for, say, Ainius Smith?

Sounds like we are recruiting him at corner right now. I can't possibly imagine us taking more than 2 more DBs (Turner and one other). I'm not sure if we want Smith or Williams more, doesn't sound like we pushed Williams real hard for a commit at this point, so maybe it's Smith. I do think it's most likely we end up with Williams. Sounds like he has us #1, SC #2 and Oregon third.
 
That's kind of what I thought. Sounds like Turner is in no matter what if he wants, and maybe one more DB overall. That's why I asked: With things trending more positive for Turner, a commit from Williams would effectively close out the DB recruiting. I really liked Smith's film, and I've been a homer for McMillan from the get-go, even if it had to be on the defensive side of the ball (liked him at RB better)...

Visiting USC, when he called to tell Oregon he wasn’t coming they said “that’s fine, we’re full anyways”. He also said he thought about committing to UW on the visit, but wants to check out USC first. He’s also talking with Daniel and Puka a lot about them all “making the move”.

Lol no one gives a shit about Jayden coming, but if you message and package him coming with a pact that Danny Hammer & Puka would be coming with him, now every single one of us would suck Jayden’s dick if it meant we closed Hammer and Puka.
