McCoy clearly has elite acceleration and athleticism, so it's not surprising he beat Williams a few times, but for the most part, Williams was assigned to McCoy the entire night and I have to say I was somewhat surprised how little impact McCoy ended up having in the game.
There was a moment early on when Williams gave McCoy a little leg kick after the play which was indicative of the chippy play between both teams. There is definitely bad blood between the schools.
Also of note, Sean Dollars was playing and even though he was mentioned as the #4 all purpose back in the galaxy, it is clear he's the #2 if not #3 running back for MD...which I found odd. A 4 star kid that highly recruited and he's not even an every down back in high school. Trust the coaches.
Centennial also had another d-lineman who was pretty good, but his name eludes me....Foreman or something like that.
Centennial's coach should have been fired on the tarmac at SNA for staying with that quarterback, though.
