Jason Whitlock's take on modern day black Americans

Owned a business in Valdosta GA. We motored through all the temp agency candidates and were in dire need of talent to work on the plant floor for us. I got the bright idea to drive into the projects to one house in particular where you could see about 15 able bodied men hanging on the front porch all day long just talking and doing their thing. I was willing to hire as many as were interested. I parked in the driveway, got out of the car and one gentleman walked towards me yelling "if you ain't bringing me my check, you can turn around and get your ass out of here". That was 26 years ago. Boy was I naive. My partner and employees (80% black) all laughed at me and shook their heads when I told them what had happened.

When we sold the company we had a team of 39 employees. We were working with chemistry so we had to send about half to night classes for remedial reading and arithmetic so that they could follow recipes, volumes, temperature, weights, particle sizes, etc. We knew we had to invest in them if we wanted capable people. We gave them insurance and paid $12 starting per hour. The majority of our full-time employees had never had insurance in their lives.

It took 7 years to get a core group that were capable of being full time employees. We motored through hundreds upon hundreds of temps who had no interest in learning or working. The stories I could tell you.

Suffice to say, I have learned from experience that they haven't given up, they just don't know any other way than dependence on the government. They have been groomed by democrats. and not one democrat is interested in changing that. To condemn or chastise the black culture that is so harmful to our black brothers and sisters, would be to lose votes, and rats are not about to let that happen.

The problem for college kids that are willing to be trained by a company and stick with it is that the owners and their executives have already worn themselves out doing that and having it result in maybe a few decent employees. That is now your job, it's no longer building for the future. So companies at 40-60 employees throw their hands up and pay more for older readymade people.

There is a lot of truth to that. I was told by a woman who I worked with, college educated, even dabbled at being a character actor in several "B" movies, that it was time she got hers. She let me know that I already got mine. She wasn't a good worker and I eventually had to let her go, but she believed that because I was white I "got mine" doing nothing and it was now her time to 'do nothing' and get hers.

I have been sued two times for supposed racism. Both were total farses, made up of whole cloth and were thrown out after one interview. Both cases were employees who I hired, invested in, spent a lot of one on one time with and had a sincere personal goal to make them successful with increased financial stability and security. They ended up trying to sue me in an effort to not work again. We found out that one of them had 6 lawsuits going at one time. Again, totally made up shit. I have had some wonderful black employees and fellow workers over the years so I didn't let any of those predatory assholes jade me on hiring practices. But I get where those owners and executives are coming from and it truly is something you need to be prepared for. We learned the hard way that a good defense is a good offense. Every new employee signed many training documents and they didn't see the plant floor until they had gone through a week of rules to live by.

I think most of the people in that video think brawls like that are just part of normal life and not in any way a sign of how dysfunctional things are in their community.
In Atlanta the teen takeover has been the rage over the last few weekends. Violence, shootings, litter. City leaders just shrug their shoulders and say "Meh" Of course, if they shut it down, policed it more, required permits, they would all be voted out of office in the next election. When you have democrats with the soft bigotry of low expectations- what else would you expect?
