You, are literally a POS. 1000+ people lost their homes and everything they own and all you want to do is dispute a cut to the FD. A 2% cut on the FD means a lot more down the line. There is no way you can defend the democrat response to the fires so all you can do is talk about a percentage.

But come on dude, this is a political issue if there ever was one. Political decisions are at the root of MUCH of the carnage. Certainly not all. I agree politics cannot control the wind and there will absolutely be fires no matter what, but responsible forest management and water management not encumbered by insane leftist environmental policies (politics!) would go a LONG way to lessening the severity of this. This is the EXACT time to call out this nonsense so people can force change. People have to die to protect a river smelt? I mean if that's what the voters want then sure, but I think the environmental lobby in CA that owns the Dem politicians probably don't want to push that position today. And that's a good thing.
