Both Biden and Trump had docs they weren’t supposed to have, the difference is that Biden alerted the authorities and gave them back and Trump resisted returning them and then committed his favorite crime, obstruction of justice. Trump was even caught showing top secret documents to pals at his club. Not good.

That’s not what the FEC said. The commission was split down party lines and they need 4 votes and were deadlocked 3-3, so the case was dismissed.
Once he leaves office he’s not allowed to have them. They aren’t close to the same cases due to how each of them reacted when they found out they had them. One gave them back and the other refused and obstructed justice. One acted with criminal intent and the other didn’t.

They weren’t declassified and a simple “I say they are declassified” is not all it takes. There is an actual process. Neither of them had the authority to posses them after leaving offices.
