Jalen McMillan nearing a return… win win

So he’ll go 15 plays, “feel something” in his knee, then shut it down and UW’s offense will again be out of synch because he practiced all week with the first team and took all the reps.

Fucking this. Enough of the gimpy decoy bullshit. Just shut him down until he’s healthy enough to play a full game and let Germie get the first team reps.

I think they can win the next four games if they lean into Bernard in JMacs role. Maybe you get McMillan back for the P12CG or a playoff game. Anything but that and you just shut him down. Not worth the disruption to the offensive machine.

Bernard is a viable sub for McMillan. I'd rather have both and I'm not saying he's as good so don't twist. I think part of the problem is that Bernard hasn't been 100% either. It may not be that clear which of them is more likely to be game ready.

This guy Boston exists, right?

Right. I'm drawing a blank on his name but one of the freshmen got some reps and a catch or two in an early game and looked good. Boston has looked pretty good.

I don't see why McMillan being out limits the passing game in any way.

Sit McMillan until the Oregon st. Game if necessary. Or the ccg. Or whatever important game is later.

Don’t have him take practice reps. He should have been on the shelf the last 5 weeks.

UW can beat anyone when he’s 100%

@bisonduck is living rent free in my head now after our pyrrhic victory over Oregon.

I'm losing sleep over injuries and Oregon's superior depth.

And that Oregon balance

Only retards think him practicing but not playing impacts the rest of the offense.

Don’t have a bait GIF to go along with it but there it is

Not the whole offense, but you don't want a situation where Giles Jackson is called off the bench and can't even figure out where to line up pre-snap

Sure but you’re telling me at no point in the preseason we were working in multiple different WR sets?

Not like every first team rep was Odunze, Polk, and McMillan and if it was then #Firetheboar
