Not as long as Petersen is at UW. Ford knows Washington will put guys into the league at an above average rate, and there is nothing better for his business than FSP guys going to the league. It’s better for his business long term for his guys to go to Washington and the NFL than short term bags from whoever.

His HS coach is a huge ND guy...his daughter went to ND undergrad & is in ND Law School now. So he has been pitching ND to Jalen for a while. Jalen’s family is on board with ND (which is huge for a west coast kid to have their family be on board with a long move).

agreed. the west coast guys don't go to ND isn't exactly what I've thought. I thought that West Coast guys outside of the USC/UCLA footprint (read: obsession) were actually the ones that weren't really interested, but now that both the LA schools are dreck, I think ND is a natural to fill that opportunity from a pure "fuck man...SC and UCLA suck...if I have to leave, where should I go?" angle.
