Is Trice the only player from the 2023 defense that would actually see the field for the 2016 squad? Let that sink in.

When Azeem went down I’d take Eddy, Bruener or Goforth over Beavers. 2016 has zero LB depth.

Bruener would definitely be a #2 on the depth chart.

Our* entire secondary wouldn’t even be listed in the game program let alone ever sniff the field.

2016 was weak at OLB/Buck when Mathis was out and thin/green at LB behind Victor and Bierria. Trice and Bruener would have both been amazing additions to that defense.
