It's a trade off - give 2023 2016's defense and wow. Give 2016 Penix and wow. 2023 also lacked a Ross or just a guy with Ross' speed, especially against Michigan.

Good call on Tuli. Forgot about him. He wouldn’t be a starter, but he’d definitely be in the rotation on that team.

I wonder if Byron Murphy would have been a better option as a freshman. The fact they redshirted him only to have him leave after 3 years shows how good the guys in front of him were.

When Azeem went down I’d take Eddy, Bruener or Goforth over Beavers. 2016 has zero LB depth.
