I suspect they can see it at this point, just don't want to admit it, and are in denial/rationalizing every kid who doesn't commit as a one off unique reason.

I still have hope after the season, the light bulb goes on for Jimmy and his coaches in regards to recruiting and he makes the necessary changes.

Yep. This is Clay Helton shit. But Clay had to be pressured to bring in some crooters. When does that happen for Jimmy?
 
Ektard says the coaches think Tucker and TJ Hall are the same player so they went for the low hanging fruit instead of fighting for Florence. Aggressive!

Maybe they don’t because recruiting has no bearing on this season (or next really) and they are ready to win now?

I’m excited to win the PAC 12 while you TBSers are worried 2024 won’t be special.

So they should ignore 50% of their job? And what if this year isn't special then what?

What really happened is Florence's dad blew them off and told them they would only visit Oregon for the July weekend and not Washignton. They got the hint that he was going to Oregon so they moved on to Hall.
