This might actually be worse for UWs chances with Jaden. I’d say it’s likely the family would want Jaden to get away from the local area while this is playing out rather than stay local at UW and have this be the story everywhere he goes.

It's much more common for hoops kids to leave the state (or even go across the country) than for football.

We have a real shot at Smalls. We never had a shot with McDaniels.

I wasn’t talking about interest level. McDaniels is gone. Smalls and McDaniels are both the #1 players in the country. Both are fucking ridiculous. If McDaniels goes to play for Shaka Smart I will kill myself. I can see him going to Kentucky but Shaka Smart fucking sucks at Tejas.
