Esteen is the only player I see challenging for a position in the 2-deeps in his first couple seasons. Jackson and Smith seem like players who might end up being good upperclassmen, but we won't be hearing about them for a while.

ASU lost to Colorado at home, eeked out a couple wins including a scintillating 19-7 win over Sacramento State and is about to get bonesawed at Utah this weekend. Fuck them.

We might be able to bet on one being the next Jordan Miller, but who knows how long we have Lake and if DB development will be the same 3 years from now.

Esteen will probably be in the two deeps at safety next year. He’s pretty good and we aren’t very deep there.

I agree 100%. Disregarding Safety vs CB and only looking at 5 DB spots, If everyone comes back he essentially only has to beat out 2 of Alex Cook, Kamren Fabiculanan, Brandon McKinney, Julius Irvin. If Keith Taylor and/or Elijah Molden leaves that number obviously drops.
I also don't really understand why we're getting such a late start on offering any 2021 DB.
