I don't think Sirmon actually does. Sirmon has elite size and arm strength. Yankoff has good size and plenty of arm strength himself. He's also more accurate, he's more mobile, and right now as a high school QB, he's a lot better.

Petersen has said his two most important traits for his QB's to have are accuracy and decision making.

Here's the truth about Sirmon...

Big time arm talent. He's got size. He has no feel at all though. He doesn't throw guys open. Every highlight is him throwing to a wide open guy. He's robotic.

His supporting cast sucks? He plays in Washington for a team that is pretty good every year. The QB before him won a state tital. Bothell is a top 10 4A school.

There are guys like this every year. Shane Morris from Michigan has elite arm strength. He has no feel though.

Sirmon has gotten better, but there are no intangibles with him. I'm shocked anyone can watch Sirmon and think he's better than Yankoff.

Yankoff plays for a program with probably less talent yet still put up huge games against Folsom and Camas. Sirmon wouldn't. It's as simple as that.

Yes, he's young. He has the raw physical talent to get better, but has there ever been a 4 or 5 star prospect from Washington that has had this many people watch him live and be unimpressed?

If he came to UW and was a great QB I would be happy. I was wrong about Petersen and couldn't be more happy that I was.

I did find it strange that people criticized you about it when they hadn't seen him live like you had. I know he has great offers.

So did Jake Heaps, Montana, Troy Williams, Cyler Miles, etc. It was simply your opinion after watching him play like shit.

If he comes to UW, I hope he's good, but I think he sucks. That's what these boards are for.
 
I like Sirmon a lot and I think he's going to be very good.

But literally everytime @RoadDawg55 has said a recruit sucks he has sucked.

I wouldn't bet money against Roadie.
