He throws from the pocket really well, but when he's outside of it - holy shit. That's why he reminds me of Darnold a lot. Just a fucking cannon outside the pocket.

He's got a hose for sure. The second throw on the tape is legit.
 
The one at 48 seconds rolling to his left is insane.

Kid has 5 star arm talent.

Hopefully we hire a real QB coach who can help his consistency issues. Not sure if the headcase thing is fixable or not.

Definite high upside.

Between him, Yankoff and... oh wait, there is no one else... there should be a ridiculously dumb competition among two RS-Frosh for our QB spot that is clumsily handed to DBG because he's got more experience, causing everyone to hate him and call for either Sirm or Yank.

3 things struck me:

1) Receivers actually don't have to break stride when QBs throw the ball. I didn't know that

2) Doesn't give me the winners vibe from watching his film, mostly because I'm not sure he ever beat Woodinville.

3) This film is really biased because it doesn't show his 5 picks from his Sophomore year Woodinville game.

The one thing that really wows me about this tape is how well he seems to feel the rush. Obivously this is a highlight cut-up, but there are so many examples of him feeling the rush and sliding around the pocket to avoid it.

He steps up or side-steps it while looking downfield before he scrambles. That's fucking high-level shit. Consider that it's also one of Browning's biggest weaknesses aside from arm talent and you should be salivating at the thought of this kid in our offense.

Stop plagiarizing my shit! I've been on the Sirmon train from the jump. That boy has God's arm. Browning's lack of talent is embarrassing compared to both of these QB's. Can't fucking wait until one of them is the starter.

Here’s a thought—and question—for the bored. Lundquist, allegedly was a 4.5 runner, freak athlete, yaada but in all the times they called designed runs did he ever bust a run and put his head down like Copter Jake?
 
The arm strength is what excites me! I forgot what it looked like to see a QB just flick their wrist and throw the ball 40 yds on a rope. So many effortless throws. And, as someone else said, seems to have really good pocket awareness. Looks great to my untrained eye!
