I'd take subpar WR and passing QB recruiting for a team that lines up and runs the fucking ball down your goddamned throat night in night out. The last time I really enjoyed UW offense was going option with Tui in 2000.

I miss Warshington, damnit.

That team ran the option like 10-20% of plays. It's not like we went full on option.

Which is why PJ & Locker would have been awesome.
Yeah how would that have worked without one of best QBs in league history? Probably 6-6 or 7-5.I'd take subpar WR and passing QB recruiting for a team that lines up and runs the fucking ball down your goddamned throat night in night out. The thought of Jack Lockner making multiple split second decisions in a true triple option offense in CFB gives me nightmares.

Because those are so fast is why I think Jake would have been just fine in that offense. Coaching and training for under-center, triple option is repetition to the point that it's instinctual. There's no time to think.

I want to give you a half vote up and down for that comment. I get your point, but I still disagree.... DJ needs to get on that.
I'm guessing Eason will enroll in January.
Seriously, he's not interested in UW and hasn't been for a long time now. We have no shot.

These rankings reflect how much each guy fluffs Dilfer, rather than how good they are at football.I'm guessing Eason will enroll in January.

Who wants a #6 QB in the country?

Subpar QB play in the pac12 isn't a recipe for sustained success. It barely passes in the ACC most years for GT.
Power run game is one thing (like Stanford) - I'm all for that, wishbone is another. That wouldn't consistently work in the Pac12 in my opinion.

This. It hasn't consistently worked for Johnson at GT. Some option is fine, but running it exclusively really handcuffs an offense. There is a reason hardly anyone runs it.

Yeah, it's complete BS... Eason is really good, I don't need Trent Dilfer's Fluffer Rankings to tell me that.
