If we had Peterson[/b] we probably close. Pete was one of the most under rated closers in the game, the struggle was getting the players on campus. So far Jimmy hasn't shown that ability but a lot has to do with last years incompetent offense and the uninspiring OC hire.

The only thing about a program's future that matters is the quality/quantity of its recruiting classes as they are leading indicators.

Not being able to get Costello into the program (hi UW upper campus) is a big hit IMO for this year ... hope one of the young QBs steps up.

Jimmy went all in. He brought the whole staff down there for the in-home visit. But the former secretary-to-the running-back-coach that Jimmy handpicked to be his O.C couldn't sell it. Doesn't sound like Cato Caelin helped much either.

SC would take him if he met the NCAA minimums. If they dont take him UW isnt and neither is Oregon, at least not without some delay while he fixes the grade or gets an AA.
