I do have a problem with putting your stamp of approval on this behavior. It intentionally pisses of your core market in return for some marketing executive building a DEI resume and some CEO pandering to the wokes in return for? The Throbber has zero issue with Jack Daniels and Budweiser and Nike, etc running their business in any manner they see fit insofar as it is legal.
Now, if I was a Jack Daniels, Budweiser or Nike shareholder, I sure as fuck would be pissed off that they willing to piss away market share and earnings to appease an insignificant sub-group of consumers.
