I fucking hate this team. I'm fully expecting them to shit themselves against UCLA, especially the offense. Special teams is total shit, so we know that is a handicap.

Smith is going to come out with the same shit against UCLA that he did against ASU. I fully expect to see the same fucking garbage for 4 quarters. No planning for the game and no in-game adjustments.

How the fuck do we? always end up with some inept coordinator that won't be fired? I can't stand seeing that fucking goofball sitting up in the booth and calling shitty play after shitty play.

God damn it, Petersen, fire that fucking useless piece of shit. You should have fired him during the BYE week. Smith is who he has always been. He won't change. You have Gaskin, Colemen, Ahmed, and Pleasant. Use them. You also have a new left tackle. What is easier for an inexperienced lineman, run blocking or pass blocking?

Run the damn ball until the UCLA defense pukes. Once they are done puking, hit them up with a few easy passes.

The only plausible explanation that I’ve been able to to accept in my mind is that coaches keep these assistants around to take the fall when shit hits the fan. I don’t know if Petersen is that Machiavellian though.

I want to believe the real reason Petersen hasn’t pulled the trigger yet is the guy he’s identified to replace Babushka isn’t ready to leave their current post yet.

I hadn’t considered the blackmail angle. It’s very “House of Cards”. I’m imagining Smith talking to Petersen with a bad Kevin Spacey southern accent threatening to expose his secret.

At this point it’s as plausible of an explanation as any.
 
BTW, I don't care if Petersen likes to fuck goats. As long as he builds the program up into a championship contender, his goat fucking can be overlooked. It's just too bad that he let Smiff stalk him and take pictures of his activities.

Even if UW scores 42 (unlikely), Smith should be jettisoned. UCLA is abysmal in rushing defense and we'll opt to let 'er rip. Smith is Sark Lite. QB playcallers suck and should kill themselves (read: not calling for death of anyone, just suggesting a path for those of egregious ineptitude).

head coach and to get there you have to have
a reputation as a top level OC. You don't get
a rep as a top level OC by calling dive plays
over the guards. We need to be praying his
shit works because it's the only way he moves

Perhaps we won’t get the chance to play in the CFP this year ... but can still go 12-1 and win the P12 ... still very possible at this point.

After last night's game, it should be crystal fucking clear to anyone that the P12 North is the worst division in the nation. If we lose a game in the north, we need to go all in on keeping Hop safe from the feds and just letting him work.
