I live in a gerrymandered district that now puts Wenatchee and Chelan in the same district as South Hill. South Hill being a recent addition.

Yep. East Hill of Auburn used to be republican. Redistricttd a few years back. Not Republican anymore.

During that time gang violence and homelessness has also skyrocketed.

Ewwwwwhrrrre but what about when Dems do it….. here we go again.

I’ve just flat out stated make the districts a square shape and make the represent an equal portion of the population and let the chips fall where they may. I don’t know how you interpret that statement as “make only the Republican districts as square but leave Dem districts alone”
Then again, I realize I’m probably the smartest person on this board so what easily makes sense to me is a struggle for others. I get it.

Get it on the ballot in Washington. We? will all vote for it Buck. We believe in you.
When you get it on the ballot in California I'll be happy to vote for it as well. I can't imagine why anyone would oppose it.

Oregon went from purple when I moved to Portland in 1997 to Dead Red in 2004 once Multnomah County could find votes late in the night because of mail-in fraud.
