It's hard for me to muster up much hate for the Cuogs. Every once in awhile someone comes along who helps me get there. Barry Bolton, Ryan Leaf, Klay Thompson, Dick Bennett, Mike Leach.

And for the last couple years, Gabe Marks.

I admired the massive amount of talent that college Ryan Leaf had. I never hated him and by the time he was freaking our as a pro, who cares?

I hated Brock Huard a lot more that gray day when the Cougs clinched the Rose Bowl at Husky Stadium than I did Leaf. Huard threw his usual 5 picks off the back foot.

97 sucked and led in to 98 where the only good thing was Lambo finally getting fired.
