It’s not too late

Seems to me that the offense moves the ball just fine between the 20's. The failure to score points is on the coaches.
But you see, Demond would solve all that. Or something.
Playing a true frosh QB on a team this transient in year 1 of a complete rebuild is not the move. You run the risk of fucking him up, ala Huard in the Apple Cup in 2021.
Give him some series late in games, go into 2025 with the expectation he is the guy, bring in a transfer to compete in practice if you're really NFL lite, and win 10 games in 2025.
Demond is not going to get better starting every game this season. He has already turned the ball over once against bad teams. Rogers despite his retarded snap problems hasn't yet.
Good luck @ Penn State and @ Oregon, Demond.
10 games in 2025 seems like a real stretch to me, but I guess you never know with the wild swings year to year now
9, 10, or more wins every 2 years in the B1G has to be the expectation.
Floor can't get any lower than that, or it's new coach time.

anyone else concerned that Williams couldn’t beat a white trash Greyson Gunheim MF DE around the edge?
He doesn't have speed speed speed. Can make quick cut moves and that's it. Not going to be a badass read option qb that gets outside and picks up 40 yards chunks.
repo repo repo > speed speed speed. RIP.

yeah i would very much like to be wrong… but this kid screams HS uber athlete faster than everyone heads to major college program oh shit, not nearly as fast and elusive as we thought with real defenses in front of him. I think both these QBs are not difference makers, personally and the Fish will be in search of a better option via transfer.

Here's the thing about Demond Williams… He's got moxie and he's got killer instinct. You can just tell.
Rogers seems like a nice guy, but after another poor throw on third down, or fumbled snap in the red zone, and the camera zooms in to his facemask and he has this wounded puppy dog look to him. We need more of Billy Joe Hobert's "no shit, coach" moment than the beta stuff.

I just think of all the times playing two QBs has worked out in high level football and think UW should stick with that.

it's cute you guys still think a top tier championship program is important to UW. UW lucked into DeBoer and wince they realized what they had they let him go.

The back up QB is always the solution for coping when things aren’t going well. Keep playing Rogers until we are bowl ineligible, then I don’t care if they mess around with Williams.

And maybe Rogers does give that wounded puppy dog look, so what? Just goes to show he got that Daaaawg in him.

I'm just seeing this now, but yes this is on the money

Looks like his dad is telling him he needs to play football or he will disown him

alternating QBs every single other drive is the answer, clearly

never let them feel comfortable
The entire gameplan for the season is to give the frosh live reps without ruining him
Fisch better have a big year next year
He's gotta play all his young guys on both lines and only include like Finau, Hatchett, Parker, and the other young DL and show that there's a plan there.
