...if Stanford continues to stagger, and if UW takes care of business in Tempe, the UW (7-2) at UCLA (8-1) game on 11/15 could be for a Rose Bowl berth. Two huge "ifs," for certain.

I like Mora's team in that hypothetical scenario.
 
Ehh, I'm not so sure. There would still be a Pac 12 title game between UCLA and Oregon. Not only that, but if Oregon goes to the championship game, there is no guarantee the Rose Bowl even takes a Pac 12 team.
 
That doesn't count. That's almost like when Wiskahnsin made it last year by double default (St Penn and THE Ohio St weren't eligible).

I hear you, but if by some crazy way we made it to The Rose Bowl (I know we won't), I would still get pretty fucking excited.

 
A hypothetical 10-2 UW would get the RB nod over a hypothetical 10-3 UCLA.

But hypothetical scenarions are fucking stupid. UW is losing between 1-3 games @ASU, @UCLA, and @OSU. Hypothetically.

If I was unclear, I agree with you. UW finishing 10-2 looks very improbable at this point.
