In the head-to-head matchup in November between Banchero and Chet Holmgren, Banchero was the better prospect on the court. He was hitting 3-pointers in transition with confidence and finding ways to score at the rim around 7-foot Holmgren. The 6-foot-10 forward has a grab-and-go style off a missed shot and is a lot more versatile on defense, sitting down and guarding the pick-and-roll very well.

Banchero ranks above the 76th percentile in every offensive category, according to Synergy Sports, and his most impressive stat comes as a spot-up shooter where he’s rated “excellent” and averages 1.2 points per possession.

Yes, there were concerning reports early in the season about consistent cramping during games and losing seven pounds of fluid per game, but the training and medical staff has since helped him get his excessive cramping under control and there will be little concerns from NBA teams come draft
evaluation time.

You take Holmgren simply on the massive upside. Banchero is already a man - but how much more of a man is he going to become?

Holmgren and another 30 pounds is Giannis On Steroids.

I don't know about that one... Paolo Banchero projects out to be the much better NBA player in my mind. OKC has a very similar player to Chet Holmgren on there roster in Aleksej Pokusevski (7'0 190) and he has struggled in the NBA so far. Paolo Banchero will be a 20/10 player with guard like skills.

Most likely because he is a Seattle area HS legend, former UW MBB recruit and a potential #1 overall draft pick in the 2022 NBA draft... This is a NBA discussion as well as an overall basketball discussion forum.

Why don't you create a thread about what you would like to see discussed in this forum instead of making snide remarks about something you have no apparent idea about, buddy.
