At the same time, the last time I was at the ER in fucking excruciating pain from a complication of my diabetes and watched 37 people with sniffy fuckin' noses and no insurance be attended to before me, I wanted to torch their fuckin' asses - especially when I did get in and they wanted to run 15 unneeded diagnostic tests so my insurance company could pay for all the uninsured shitheads that went in before me.

Face it, the insurance companies brought this shit on themselves. The problem is that the fix was nearly as bad, or worse, than the original problem was.

I have linked huffpo maybe once or twice. Generally the stuff on there is shit, but sometimes it's linked to something that is actually factual with actual factual analysis.

You asked the question on an edit. Hence why it's not in my quote.

Did you read your article and compare it to the actual study? There's a few key differences that newsmax throws in that skews shit. For example, the 5% thing. Put it in context where historically premiums were increasing 8-10%.

Been there, brother. But with my wife's cancer (who's ass she whooped) from a decade ago. The "C-word" is a money making conveyor belt for the medical machine as is diabetes.

Go in for a sinus infection and they all try to schedule a half dozen MRI's, cat-scans, and thyrogen treatments - none of the treatments germane to the actual ailment.

When I worked on Lake Tahoe, the local hospital would only serve those that arrived in a REMSA (ambulance) or in handcuffs from the casinos with a needle stuck in their arm. Normal folk with insurance had their own special wing that resembled a morgue.... and this was well before Obaminator-care.

Cool story.
