When the judge donates to anti-GOP groups and his daughter is raising funds and campaigning for Democrats based on this trial, of course the refs are corrupted. You’d be saying the same thing if the roles were reversed.

Merchan isn't a sitting judge and reportedly was not on the list of 24 actual judges with 1 to be picked at random. Merchan is an acting judge.
 
From what I understand, this was a winnable case or at the very least hung jury. Trump decided to get in his lawyers way and blew his defense. What’s the problem? He got what he wanted. Instead of blaming the refs, they should blame themselves.
