its a huge shit sandwich and we're all gonna have to take a bite

Well so Deboer and Fisch do have things in common - having their agent try to leverage lesser jobs while they underwhelm at their current jobs. See.

DeBoer could probably get 13-14 mil at Penn State which is a substantial raise over 10 and change he is making at Alabama. I don’t think Alabama would love to give him 3 more million for treading water at best.

I still think he’s a great coach. One of the best and he deserves patience because he will get it going at any big program.

If they make the playoffs he'll get a raise. If he loses to Auburn the writing is on the wall
Bama doesn't do patience. They are like us internet nutjobs in real life

Fans online that say shit about coaches "not being a good 'fit' for X school they took a job at" and then refusing to defend that in detail should be muted on every platform forever.

hey?, he shud go there, its a natural fit the way Alabama never was, its a no brainer, no one gets hurt, no one is unhappy

He should come back here for some unfinished bidness
If PSU is actually trying to grab him them kudos to them. That's SERIOUS about football
Meanwhile we have fans pining for PSU leftovers
But he isn't leaving Bama for Pedo

I would have thought DeBoer would have considered Michigan especially since their coach is dead man walker within a year. Only thing that might scare Michigan is the fact that Kalen isn’t a pound the rock kinda guy and they had a similar offense from Rich.Rod and he wasn’t a good fit.
If Deboer bolts Alabama he’s definitely not liking the heat with every L. I would also say he doesn’t want to risk being fired because if he goes to Penn State he will be there long enough to get them back to the playoffs or a natty run but with the direction of college football and the portal and paying players millions I bet his ultimate goal is the NFL by 2030. Getting fired at Alabama will set back his goal of getting to the NFL asap and if he leaves bama he doesn’t want to risk getting fired.

Kalen is an upper-midwest guy running a West Coast offense. I don't think he would fit as well in the B1G because of the crap weather.
