given the embarrassing revelations about shelley it's interesting that she's there

occam's razor: non-issue, there to support husband, is sacrificial lamb and thrown under bus as urban lies about her never telling him anything about smith

fun theory: there to drive him home because he can't leave with the company car after being fired

Prosaic explanation: they want him there because the verdict will come down at some point today. Shelley is there to keep him company or something.

Fun explanation: he can't meet with team, he isn't being interviewed by the panel...he's negotiating the buyout and is bleeding them every ounce he can.
