People forget that Phil was at the 95 Cotton Bowl and saw the scoreboard baby loss and asked Moos - what would it take to win one of these?
 
If we’re going to get granular with it we lost the Rose Bowl and Cotton Bowl back to back.

It’s not like the guy was jonesing for a Cotton Bowl win.
