Is there an official RUS @ UKR gamethread?

Just saw an article that Zelinsky ordered Ukraine hams not to transmit any news to the world at the start of this whole mess. Makes me wonder why? Why would he not want what's going on broadcast to the world? Unless it's not what the Zelinsky government is putting out.....

Very strange indeed! Shutting down civilian radio operators during a war? What are they hiding?

Other than the internet, social media, thousands of journalists with cameras from all over the world, and phones - how will any news get out?

Serious answer that is not needed: go sit by any airport, try to transmit some radio signals and let me know how that goes for you.[/b] If someone’s lame hobby is radio you would think they are aware of military use of RF for things like weapons guidance systems and a million other things.

No one sensationalizes like the Brits. This was a Russian oligarch, but he was born in Ukraine so the headlines will say Ukrainian, doesn’t make a difference in the grand scheme of things. The Soviet Union sent you wherever they wanted for work reasons as well as for social engineering purposes.

This dude becomes yet another Russian oligarch to commit a suspicious suicide. Boris Berezovsky became Putin’s enemy and then hung ‘himself’ with a belt in the bathroom.

The guy’s mother is apparently still alive and kicking and is a diehard Soviet Commie and Putin supporter. A very wealthy one. In Russia, communists aren’t the same as Seattle/Portland/NorCal I-5 corridor commies. I don’t know how many people understand that. The communist party of Russia is actually more fascistic/nationalistic and only uses the ol’ hammer and sickle as a symbol of Russia’s imagined might. They would consider even a staunch Republican bastion like Idaho or Wyoming to be too liberal.

Just an FYI, if anyone else is being cautious about the nuke threat, the delivery time in the past 5 days for this product went from 1 week when I ordered to now being 1 month. Mine arrives today.

My self care plan is to get as close to McChord, Bremerton, Everett docks or Whidbey NAS as possible when missiles fly.
