Sloppy Steve (and this 2014 team obviously still has his DNA up in it like a Joey's Waitress) would get annually curb-stomped in his trips down to the desert while Petersen was one RS-SR RB fumble away from an upset win.

Petersen is still the guy but Sloppy Steve's Anal Plunger Tears need more time to heal.
 
I had more faith until yesterday. With the management, his pressers after, I am now beginning to face the other direction. That was sad, and irritating... and scary that he trusted his booth more than himself. I hope this doesn't become an expectation like we had with 3DB and his 3 loss streaks.
 
I voted yes, but maybe should have voted "Janet Reno".

We don't know if he is "the guy" until he wins big. If he isn't "the guy" that will be evident in a few years.
 
I have moved from a very strong yes to not sure.
Yeah i get that he's not working with most of his
recruits but that is part of the job these days.
Biggest disappointments for me are the sloppiness
and end of the game indeciseivness. Recruiting is still
a wait and see also.
 
Not a big enough sample size. Early returns are looking like no, but we will all know by year 3. Every Coach needs 2-3 years to prove it, or punt it.
 
When taking a knee several times would have left Arizona with 10 seconds, and instead, Peterman allowed for the hand off to Cooper, this was a monumental fuck up. The excuse given by him was that according to his chart, they needed another first down. But why would the risk of running be the choice for kneeling down three times where it is near impossible to fumble? I don't get his logic, that was not representative of a decision of a top notch coach. Defense has been a high point, so why wouldn't it make sense to let the defense hold the Wildcats for 10 seconds?

Peterman gave away a sure win by his decision.

The play is horrible and sloppy and we're getting plungered but at least there is some kind of long-term plan that I can see him trying to work with the purging of Sark's players and trying to instill discipline even though we're undisciplined as fuck.
