Willingham was totally unlikable and brought nothing but shame and disappointment

At least Lake was an assistant here and helped out a lot of DB’s get to the league.

I think if we just look at the results in a vacuum based on the situations they inherited, the expectations going into season 2, and how the final product compared to those expectations then Lake is worse rather easily.

Jimmy is worse because he managed to derail the program that was full of good recruits. We also had expectations this year

Willingham had neither

That's how I feel.

Willingham took a bad team and took it to 0-12.

Jimmy took a team Phil Steele said was a dark horse for the playoffs and lost to Montana. And the reason we lost to Montana is because he hired JonDon to run his outdated offense. And it was Kent Baer (Willingham's old DC) at Montana that shut us out for 57 minutes.

It’s not even close. Lake did a lot for this program and just isn’t a good head coach.

It should be is Jen worse than Todd?

Lake had it way easier, Pete built everything AND Lake had the benefit of the covid excuse while he got his feet under him in the first year.

A dead fucking bat could have willed this team to 4-6.

Tyrone Willingham won 5 games in a season, something Lake never achieved.

Jimmy in internets age < (err, worse) Willingham in the dark ages. Jimmy's dirty laundry is more visible and kids these days don't like being thrown into lockers or terrorized on national television. Now if Petersen hadn't expelled Marcus Peters, these players could have defended themselves and we could have avoided the Jimmy's shite show.

Jimmy didn't win multiple Rose Bowls at Stanford or be Coach of the Year at Notre Dame

More was expected of Ty and less was received. And he got 4 years

Gilby was worse than both of them as was Lambo. Talk about being handed the keys to a Lambo

Gilby was the worst.

If Jimmy had been given another year he might have passed him.

He was on the 6-6 to 2-10 trajectory if he could get 6-6 this year

Up to Big Game Bob to get those two wins now

I'm thankful that Jimmy made this quick and easy. I though he would, at least, be an average corch capable of sticking around for 3 to 4 years with 7- 9 wins per year mediocrity.

This was a tough choice. I think my decision was based on having to endure 4 years of Ty Willy back when I actually cared about the team. It wasn't just him, either. Douchehelmet Turner was enabling him and he was allowed to stick around and bring us 0wen. He often bristled when challenged. He was no less arrogant than Jimmy. All his comportment bullshit was also tiresome.

Anyway, this is a clear case of abundance. They are equally terrible IMHO.

Onward and upward (maybe).
