Herbert was way better in that game against a way better defense.

And while Herbert was good in college, he should have been so much better. Arroyo was a somewhat shitty OC and they didn’t maximize Herbert at all.

I will reserve judgment until after he has gone through 5 games with a real coaching staff and passing scheme.

But Morris has had the same coaching as a 6 foot tall weird motion midget and he is better

If the UW can hire an experienced OC and/or QB coach instead of having an ex college DB work with him then yes. Sam needs a good mentor in the locker room, film room and on the practice field to guide him as the talent is there it just needs to be developed properly.
