Invited to private club in the city

I was invited to join colleagues at a private club in San Francisco. I expect either coke and orgies in back rooms, or or snooty people pushing their commie agenda. Can’t wait!

No, it with a company that supplies tech consulting. They are always buttering me up and trying to get into the company I’m working for.

The good part is that the CRO is an ex-model and super attractive. Well, that’s a bad thing to, as I’m happily married.

It turned out to be dull. I was told Thursdays are the big days. The big attraction was that people are high level tech people sharing their ideas. Honestly, everywhere you went there was separation, I don’t see how that mingling would happen naturally. I think it was a place were people that felt they were a big deal would go so they didn’t have to muffle tithe riff-raff. Good and drinks were good. The decor was nice. Staff was nice.

Put on by self indulgent people to attract self indulgent people.

Which is why the Throbber watches the real estate reality shows on Bravo. Themed broker opens are the best.
