The corruption and disregard for the poor that players on the left have is at epidemic proportions and is found in every liberal run city in the country. Reich and his buddies in the lib msm don't want to talk about that. So, they find a freak in NC who runs as a Rep (and has next to zero support now that they bloom is off his rose) and drill down on it. Again, while ignoring their own corruption.
